July 25, 2025 | Dubai, UAE – These visa free countries for Indians in 2025 have made it easier than ever to travel around the world. International trips are no longer just dreams for Indians. According to the latest Henley Passport Index for 2025, Indian passports will now allow visa-free entry to over 50 destinations. The numbers reflect a significant leap in the Indian passport ranking, providing leverage in global mobility as well.

The Indian Passport ranking has shifted from 85th position to 77th position. This means that popular travel spots such as Malaysia, Maldives, and Thailand, among others, have waived their visa requirements completely for Indians, while other nations have issued visas on arrival for easier travel. This includes Myanmar, Qatar and Sri Lanka, to name a few.

Henley’s System And Indian Passport Ranking

The Henley Passport Index is an internationally recognised ranking of passports from different nations. It measures the passport’s strength by the number of destinations that the holder can visit without a prior visa. The data for ranking comes from the International Air Transport Association  (IATA).
