For full access, there’s the Pro tier—priced at $200/month, offering extended usage, faster responses, and access to GPT-5 Pro, a version designed for power users such as developers, researchers, and content creators.
OpenAI also announced tighter integration with tools like Google Calendar, Gmail, and document editors. In theory, you could ask GPT-5 to plan a week’s schedule, email a summary to your team, and prep your grocery list all in a single thread.
Universities and Startups Eye Use Cases
GPT-5 isn’t just a tool for individuals. Universities and startups are already experimenting with the model for educational content, legal summaries, and product ideation.
