Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 18, 2025 – Cityscape Global 2025 opened this week in Riyadh, marking a major milestone in Saudi Arabia’s urban development. The event witnessed agreements worth $43 billion signed within the first two days. Senior Saudi officials, international industry leaders, and global investors gathered at the exhibition, which is Saudi Arabia’s primary platform for real estate investment and urban transformation.

Saudi Ministry Highlights Vision For Smart Cities

His Excellency Majed bin Abdullah Al Hogail, the Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Municipalities and Housing, was the one to start the occasion by emphasizing the Kingdom’s bold urban transformations. He also mentioned that Cityscape Global is a mirror of Saudi Arabia’s smart cities with modern lifestyle aspirations. The minister emphasized that the event is not a mere exhibition but a revelation of the Kingdom’s characteristics of being innovative, eco-friendly, and efficient as the future urban living elements.

The representatives from South Korea and Oman along with the regional leaders, after the minister’s speech, all pointed out the necessity of international cooperation and the injection of capital in the real estate sector. The event’s title, “The Future of Urban Living,” gives an optimistic pace as the Kingdom keeps moving towards its Vision 2030 goals that are mainly about the provision of quality living spaces.

Major Deals Signal Strong Market Confidence

Cityscape Global 2025 featured several high-value project announcements from leading developers. The National Housing Company (NHC) revealed over $26 billion in new projects aimed at expanding access to quality residential options nationwide. King Salman Park Foundation announced a billion-dollar investment to develop one of the world’s largest urban parks with integrated cultural and commercial features.

Other significant deals included $3.1 billion worth of mixed-use developments by Ajdan, covering waterfront and urban destinations such as Sports Boulevard and Khobar Pier. Retal confirmed $3.1 billion in projects spanning large land areas in key cities, while Al Majdiah unveiled $2.5 billion in residential and community initiatives supporting vibrant neighborhoods.

Moreover, the developers made new proposals, such as the $1.5 billion accessible housing units by Diriyah Company, which is aimed at making heritage-oriented neighborhoods more livable. The real estate sector was enriched by the $1.3 billion major residential development of Mohammad Al Habib and the retail and hospitality projects of Al Othaim that were worth $1.1 billion at the high end.

A Platform For Sustainable Growth and Collaboration

Cityscape Global is undeniably the world’s leading event, where discussions on a global scale related to real estate, architecture, and urban planning are extensively held. It is a gathering of multiple activities including the conferences, workshops, and innovation sessions wherein the topics of future cities, sustainability, PropTech, artificial intelligence, and community-centered design are discussed. The event, which will end on the 20th of November, has more partnerships and investments in line with the Kingdom’s vision for the future of urban living.
