In a high-level encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi Capitals (DC) continued their strong start to the IPL 2026 season, securing a hard-fought victory against the Mumbai Indians (MI). Despite a resilient captain’s knock of 51 from Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai couldn’t stand against a clinical Delhi chase. Sameer Rizvi turned the game on its head with a knock of 90 (51), dismantling the MI death-over attack to secure the win with over an over to spare.
