Temperatures to Reach 47°C

Daytime temperatures are expected across the country to be between 25°C and 47°C. In Dubai, temperatures will reach around 43°C, and Abu Dhabi will see highs of 42°C. Generally, inland areas will be the hottest, with temperatures reaching up to 47°C. Coastal and mountainous areas will be comparatively cooler, but the temperature will still settle at warm conditions.

Dusty Winds Expected During the Day

During the day, northwesterly to southwesterly winds will be light to moderate at speeds of 10-25 km/h, with gusts of up to 40 km/h over some areas. These may be strong enough to raise dust and reduce visibility in exposed areas, mainly during the afternoon.

Humidity to Increase Overnight

Humidity will increase at night and into early Sunday morning, with some coastal and internal areas reaching a maximum of 90-93%. The steamy conditions in the early morning hours will be in contrast with the dry weather expected during the daytime.

The Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain slight, providing generally favorable conditions for marine activities.

Weather Advisory

Considering the prevailing weather conditions, the authorities have urged residents to stay hydrated, avoid outdoor exposure during the peak hours of the afternoon and take precautions against heat-related illnesses. Outdoor workers and motorists are also advised to be prepared for dusty conditions at times.
