Similarly, Dubai Duty Free Crypto joined hands in partnership to make the retail payments easier and efficient for travelers. The changes are expected to be in place from next year.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, remarked on exploring the pay with bitcoin emirates airline as partners. He said, “Partnering with Crypto.com to integrate cryptocurrency into our digital payments system reflects Emirates’ commitment to evolving customer preferences, in addition to tapping into younger, tech-savvy customer segments who prefer digital currencies.”

Both companies also mentioned their plan of exploring promotional marketing strategies to raise public awareness and the demand for the newly introduced digital payment option. As a part of this initiative, there might be launch campaigns that will highlight the benefits and convenience of using cryptocurrency while travelling. It is expected that more customers will engage with the service, particularly the tech-savvy younger people will be interested in the option to pay with Bitcoin Emirates, as the partnership seeks to integrate digital currencies into travel and retail experiences.

Eric Anziani, president and COO of Crypto.com, says that the company aims to expand the use of cryptocurrency in everyday life. Partnering with a leading brand like Emirates would be a significant push in the digital asset space. He added that joint efforts would allow “both firms to deliver truly innovative financial solutions to their customers,” who would prefer a quick and efficient way to pay with bitcoin emirates, over conventional exchanges. Anziani also expressed his optimism about growing the company’s offerings across the GCC area through the collaboration.

On the other hand, the world’s largest single location store, Dubai Duty Free also collaborated with Crypto.com to explore crypto currency for online as well as in person payments. The partnership works as a major milestone in the Dubai Duty Free crypto journey, as it will enhance the payment experience for customers making it quick and seamless.
