A forecast from the National Center of Meteorology indicated that residents may expect generally fair to partly cloudy conditions with warm daytime temperatures and increased humidity during the night and early morning hours.

Hot Conditions Continue Across Most Parts of the UAE

According to the National Center of Meteorology, a daytime temperature of 46°C is to be expected over some inland areas of the Emirates, while the coastal and island regions stay warm and humid. Generally, the condition will be fair for most of the day; however, clouds might develop during the afternoon.

Chance of Rain in Eastern Areas

Generally, most places will remain dry, but convective clouds are expected to form over the eastern regions this afternoon and will probably result in isolated rainfall. Cloud development associated with atmospheric instability is more likely in the mountainous areas and over the eastern parts of the country.

Winds May Cause Dust in Open Areas

Weather conditions may include light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, generally 10 to 25 km/h, at times increasing to 35 km/h. These strong winds in exposed areas will cause dust to be raised, leading to temporarily reduced visibility.

Humidity Levels to Rise Overnight

Temperatures will drop after sunset leading to increased humidity over some coastal and internal areas. The NCM has said that fog or mist is likely to form late at night and early Monday morning, affecting visibility in some areas. Motorists should be extra cautious during this time.
