Strong public confidence in safety

According to the survey, the Daytime Safety Perception Index was one of the strongest-performing indicators, reaching an exceptional 99.9 per cent.

Dubai Police also recorded 98.7 per cent for residents’ sense of safety while walking alone at night, indicating that public confidence remains consistently high around the clock.

Meanwhile, confidence in police stations reached 96.2 per cent, reflecting widespread trust in the professionalism and effectiveness of police services across the emirate.

Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, said the results demonstrate the success of Dubai Police’s integrated approach to public security.

He noted that the achievement reflects the combined efforts of operational and administrative departments working together to strengthen security, improve service quality and enhance community confidence.

High performance across strategic priorities

The latest survey results form part of a broader set of performance indicators that show Dubai Police delivering strong outcomes across several strategic areas.

These include:

  • Security quality of life
  • Institutional excellence
  • Smart security and rapid response systems
  • Digital government services
  • Future readiness and innovation
  • Talent attraction and development
  • Customer service and contact centre performance

The organisation said these achievements align with its long-term strategy of using advanced technology and data-driven policing to improve safety while providing faster and more efficient public services.

Digital transformation drives efficiency

Digital innovation continues to play a central role in Dubai Police’s operations.

The force reported a 97.7 per cent digital adoption rate for public transactions during 2025, highlighting the growing use of online and smart services by residents and businesses.

More than 218 million digital transactions were processed throughout the year, demonstrating the scale of the force’s digital infrastructure and its ability to deliver services efficiently.

Customer satisfaction with digital platforms also remained high, with a 96.9 per cent happiness rate, reflecting positive public experiences with online services and mobile applications.

Officials said the continued investment in digital technology supports faster service delivery while reducing paperwork and improving accessibility for the public.

Focus on innovation and future readiness

Dubai Police also achieved 93.3 per cent in the Future Readiness and Innovation Index, highlighting its commitment to adopting emerging technologies and preparing for future security challenges.

The force has increasingly focused on proactive policing, artificial intelligence, smart surveillance systems and innovation to strengthen public safety while supporting the UAE’s broader vision of becoming a knowledge-based economy.

Authorities said these initiatives are designed not only to improve operational effectiveness but also to enhance quality of life for residents through smarter and more responsive public services.

Millions of emergency calls handled

Operational performance remained another key strength during the year.

Dubai Police handled approximately 6.9 million emergency and non-emergency calls in 2025, demonstrating the organisation’s ability to respond quickly to incidents while maintaining efficient communication with the public.

The figures highlight the scale of policing operations in one of the world’s fastest-growing cities and reflect the force’s continued emphasis on rapid response and service reliability.

International recognition continues

Dubai Police’s achievements have also received significant international recognition.

During 2025, the organisation secured 51 awards, including 12 international honours, further strengthening its reputation as one of the region’s leading law enforcement agencies.

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, credited the achievements to the continued support of the UAE leadership, the Dubai Government and the Ministry of Interior.

He said Dubai Police remains committed to enhancing public security, increasing community happiness and improving quality of life while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and innovation.

Al Marri also praised officers and staff for their dedication, teamwork and commitment to delivering world-class policing services.

Global leader in police brand value

Adding to its list of achievements, Dubai Police recently ranked first globally in Brand Finance’s 2025 Police Brand Value assessment.

The force received the highest AAA+ brand strength rating, scoring 9.2 out of 10 following research involving more than 8,000 stakeholders across 10 countries.

The report recognised Dubai Police for its strong performance in ethics, operational effectiveness, transparency, innovation and public trust.

Brand Finance estimated the organisation’s contribution to the UAE’s national brand value at Dh57.9 billion ($15.8 billion), underscoring its role in strengthening the country’s international reputation and soft power.

With record public safety scores, continued digital transformation and growing international recognition, Dubai Police continue to position themselves among the world’s leading law enforcement agencies while supporting Dubai’s reputation as one of the safest places to live, work and visit.
