The upcoming meeting on Yas Island marks the second encounter between Jandiroba and Dern. She has achieved victories in six of her last seven competitions, including five consecutive wins against high-caliber opponents. Her triumphs over Angela Hill, Marina Rodriguez, Amanda Lemos, Yan Xiaonan, and Loopy Godinez illustrate her developing proficiency. While she initially gained recognition for her jiu-jitsu skills, she has since expanded to more precise striking techniques, making her a better fighter.

The current vacancy of the women’s strawweight title adds significant importance to the impending rematch. For the victor, the stakes extend beyond mere championship acquisition; she has the opportunity to become the first woman to secure a UFC women in Abu Dhabi.
