Dubai’s Crown Prince Set to Strengthen Ties with India

Dubai: In a significant diplomatic move, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, is scheduled to commence an official visit to India tomorrow (Tuesday). This visit aims to deepen the existing ties between the UAE and India, with a focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation across a spectrum of strategic sectors.

During his stay, Sheikh Hamdan will engage in discussions with prominent Indian officials, exploring collaborative opportunities that could bolster mutual growth and innovation. Accompanying Sheikh Hamdan is a distinguished delegation comprised of influential leaders from various sectors. Notable members include:

  • Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum: President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, as well as the Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
  • Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi: Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
  • Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy: Minister of State for International Cooperation.
  • Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi: Minister of Sports.
  • Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri: Minister of Economy.
  • Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini: Minister of State for Financial Affairs.
  • Omar bin Sultan Al Olama: Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
