Dubai, April 26, 2025 – YouTube’s twentieth anniversary and glitzy data drops have given way to global recognition of YouTube Creators in UAE. The digital-video platform has paid about $70 billion to creators, artists, and media companies globally over the last three years. It marks the ever-growing importance of YouTube Creators in UAE, who have formed a niche in digital content and have been instrumental in establishing a creative economy in the region. 

UAE’s YouTube Creators Reach New Heights

There is a boom in the number of YouTube creators in the UAE. The latest data indicate an increase of 15% yearly in the number of channels in the UAE making seven figures in UAE Dirhams. This means that YouTube creators in UAE are creating strong communities online and at the same time monetizing their skills in content creation.

Another aspect for the reason for this growth is the global outreach of its UAE creators. Over 95% of watch time on content published from UAE channels is derived from viewers watching from outside the country. This gives evidence of just how far YouTube creators in UAE engage audiences all over the world; their voices are being heard well beyond the Middle East.

Javid Aslanov, YouTube head for MENA, praised the achievements of UAE YouTubers. He explained that they are defining popular culture and using YouTube’s tools to reach audiences all over the world.
